Is there quality difference between acrylic walk in tubs and fireglass walk in tub?

My sister is 60 years old , she is going to buy one walk in tub for her bathroom ,what she concern is safety and quality .Is there much difference between acrylic and fibreglass surface ?

I would opt for the acrylic, for strength and durability. the main concern would be for safety of surface, you need non-slip for sure footing., Ask at the dealer about any surface options or be sure to place a Mat in the tub.

Acrylic walk in tub is much better than fibreglass tub.
Acrylic is higher gloss ,more durable more deluxe.

Acrylic is one continuous suface, and high density.
Easy to clean ,looks more shiny and touch more smooth and comfortable
